We are actively seeking a dedicated, self-motivated, hard-working, and innovative person who commits to working with us as a Facilities Operations Manager on a full-time base in our designed location. We aim to have a team-working person who drives or controls managerial positions to assist us in our business in the Vancouver area and other cities of the BC province.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, safety inspections, security
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate construction projects of commercial, transportation, and recreational facilities.
Prepare or oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
Oversee facility housekeeping and the preventative maintenance program.
Monitor profit and loss targets relating to facility operations and implement corrective actions.
Plan and manage a facility’s maintenance budget.
Makes independent project operations decisions based on a variety of contracts, policies and procedures and within the scope of the position
Coordinating the order and delivery of materials to job sites
Facilitating site planning meetings
Tracking company resource usage
Identifying project risks and proposing solutions
Dispatching subcontractors and equipment
Facilitating weekly operations meetings
Coordinating equipment maintenance
Requirements
Strong knowledge of the overall construction industry, job description, and job nature, including related regulations and practices.
Post-secondary degree in business management or Business Administration is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate staff and work cooperatively with others.
Minimum 3 years of related work experience
