Truck Drivers Full Time

We are currently searching for two experienced Truck Drivers.

Job Duties:

• Operating Roll Off trucks pertaining to your license in a safe and responsible manner
• Transport the dump in local distances
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods
• Plan trip logistics
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes and loading and unloading of cargo
• Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices and on-board computers
• Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls before attempting service
  Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required
• Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer’s location clean and free of debris
• Positions containers on the customer’s property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic
• Dumping loads on site and  off site
• Switching out bins at our many jobsites
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Good communications with both co-workers & customers requests or issues

Skills Requirements:

• 2 years of work experience
• On-the-job-training is provided
• DZ licence required

Hours of work:

From Monday to Friday

The shift is from 7 am to 3 pm

Terms of employment:

Permanent Position from 40 hours per week

From $ 27.00 to $ 29.00
