JOB DESCRIPTION

Prepare and serve food at customers’ tables
Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards
Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Advise on menu selections
Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff and serve food and beverages

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
Address customers’ complaints and concerns
Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations
Balance cash and record sales
Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
Assist guests with special needs

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school completion preferred

EXPERIENCE
Previous experience will be an asset. On-the-job paid training will be provided.

Candidate should be willing to work in both morning & evening shifts.
Sometimes overtime may be required on some busy days/weekends
Candidate should be legally entitled to work in Canada
