Position: Drywall Installer (NOC-7284)

Duration: Full Time Permanent Position

Job Location: 35- 8555 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC, V3W 5C3

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Number of openings:2

Wage: $27.50 /hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

·                 Measuring, cutting and fitting drywall sheets for installation.

·                 Mixing and applying plaster, cutting and installing metal corner beads, filling joints, holes and cracks.

·                 Positioning and securing sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.

·                 Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joints.

·                 Taping over joints using taping machine, fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and offered ceilings.

·                 Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, and plumbing.

·                 Applying successive coats of compound and sand seams and joists.

·                 Preparing material for installation and other related tasks.
