Job details:

Salary: $21.00 / hour
Hours: 40 hours / week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Job requirements:

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Work setting: Metal product fabrication industry

Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Forming

Personal suitability: Flexibility, Organized, Team player

Tasks:

Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications, Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment, Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines, Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs

Equipment and machinery experience: Power presses, Punch presses

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Hand-eye co-ordination, Manual dexterity, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure
