Cargo Dynamics Logistics Inc. We are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding Logistician. The Freight Forwarding Logistician is expected to provide office as well as business support to the manager(s) of the company. This position requires a high level of initiatives, customer service skills, and the ability to handle work independently in an extremely high paced environment. Job Title:        Freight Forwarding Logistician (NOC 13201). Full-Time, Permanent Salary:                  $29.00/Hourly. Overtime pay is 1.5 times regular rate if work hours exceed 40 hours/week Benefits:              10 days paid vacation annually, other benefits as per Employment Standards Act. Working Hours: 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week Start Date:          As soon as possible Job Location(s): #128 – 21300 Gordon Way, Richmond, BC V6W 1M2 Job Duties: ·         Plan and oversee logistics operations and arrange work schedules. ·         Coordinate and process international and domestic shipments include airfreight, ocean Freight, and trucking. ·         Complete shipping documents such as bills of landings with accuracy. ·         Follow up on the shipments regarding release, pickup and delivery times and deadlines. ·         Negotiate with truck vendors on rates, routings with specified client instructions. ·         Respond to clients’ inquiries timely and take steps to improve client relationships ·         Trian new workers on job duties, safety procedures and company policies; resolve workplace problems. ·         Ensure quality work performance on both internal and external needs. ·         Extrapolate monthly, quarterly and annual reports based on shipment data and regularly communicate with management and other related parties. ·         Assist with other departmental duties as needed.
