Baker Full Time

Chung Chun Rice Dog Kanata located at 300 Earl Grey Dr, Unit A10B, Kanata, ON, serving Korean-style hotdogs, is now looking for a full-time baker.

Position: Baker (full-time)
Wage: $18.00 ~ $19.00 / hour
Working hours per week: 35 – 40 hours

Job Description
Fermenting sticky rice flour to make it suitable for making batter of the Korean style dogs
Prepare batter (dough) for Korean style dogs ; scaling, mixing
Shaping batters with other ingredients on sticks
Operate machinery
Ensure quality of products meet established standard
Organize and maintain inventory
Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets standard.
Keep the working area clean and neat
Cleaning and restocking workplace and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift

Requirements
Completion of Secondary Education (High school diploma or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of related experience as a baker
Ability to work in hot, hectic environment, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
Safety conscious
Continuous standing / walking for all tasks
Cost and quality awareness
Must speak English
