Responsibilities
Tasks

• Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
• Check products for quality and other specifications
• Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines to produce metal parts and metal products
• Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products
• Fit and assemble components using hand and power tools
• Check and lubricate gas pipeline valves
• Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment

Education
College/CEGEP, preferably in (Industrial mechanics and maintenance technology.
or equivalent experience

Experience and specialization

• 2 years to less than 3 years
• Type of service and repair: Temperature, pressure, flow and level instruments
• Equipment and machinery experience
  – Valves
  – Safety equipment
