FOOD SERVICE COUNTER ATTENDANTS Full Time

Location: Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Stettler, 5809 50 Avenue, Stettler, AB T0C 2L2

Salary: 15.00 to 15.50 hourly (to be negotiated) / 40 to 44 hours per Week

Terms of employment:  Permanent employment; Full time

Schedules:  Day, Early Morning, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Night, Overtime, Shift, Weekend

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Education:  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or some secondary education or equivalent experience

Experience:  no experience needed; company will train

Work setting:  Rural area

Tasks: ·        

• Take customers’ orders         
• Package take-out food         
• Portion and wrap foods   
• Serve customers at counters       
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars        
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items        
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs ·        
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment        
• Handle and store cleaning products
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash

Certificates and courses:  will need a Safe Food Handling certificate after hiring; not needed prior to hiring

Experience and specialization:  use of Deep fryer, Electronic cash register, Food dispensers and Grill (experience not needed; will train)

Security and safety:  Criminal record check

Transportation/travel information:  Public transportation is available
