Position Title: CHAIRSIDE DENTAL ASSISTANT (NOC TEER 33100)

Number of Vacancies:  01

We are looking for 01 non-certified Chairside Dental Assistant (NOC TEER 33100)

Job Duties:

• Perform a number of chair-side roles with extra-oral responsibilities in the dental practice
• Prepare and seat patients for dental examinations
• Order dental and office supplies
• Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
• Perform reception and clerical duties
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
• Educate patients concerning oral hygiene
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Chart patient information
• Record dental procedures performed on patients
• Invoice patients for dental services
• Coordinate with other team members

Education:  Completion of any healthcare-related post-secondary education

Work Experience:  Minimum 3 months of related experience.

Terms of Employment:  Permanent Full-time

Start date: As soon as possible

Language of work: 

• English – Conversational
• Proficient at a second language (French, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese) is a plus.

Wage:  $28.00/hour

Hours:  6 hours/day, 30 hours/week

Location of work:  1005 Broad Street, Suite 301, Victoria, BC V8W 2A1. No remote work available.

Other requirements:  Must be able to work in Canada legally
