Job Title: Glass Installer- Glazier
Positions : 1
You will be required to work 40 / hours a week.
Wage: $28.00/per hours.
Qualifications: Secondary ( high) School graduation certificate
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Language: English.
Experience: Previous experience an asset.
Job Location: Surrey, BC

Job Duties :– as a Glass installer- glazier performs some or all of the following duties:
Measure, mark and cut glass. Position and secure panes in frame. Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products. Repair glass doors and other glass structures. Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment. Transport cases of glass.

Experience and specialization
Type of glass/materials, Acrylic plexiglass , Float glass, Mirrors, Sealed units.
Glass cutting equipment and techniques
Cutting wheels, Self-lubricating cutters, Circular cutters, Cut glass plate manually (straight cuts), Cut glass plate free-hand (curved cuts), Edge glass plates.
Installation specialization:-
Skylights and slope glazed installations
Aluminum storefronts, barrel vaults, solariums, commercial window systems
Shower doors and tub enclosures
Walls and other interior areas (i.e. partitions)
Additional information:-
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling,
Own tools/equipment
Steel-toed safety boots.
