Welder-fitter helper Full Time

Location- 5715 76 Ave, Northwest, suite 300, Edmonton,  AB, T6B 0A7

Salary- 23.00 hourly / 32 to 40 hours per Week

Terms of employment – Permanent employment/Full time

Timings- Day, Morning, Overtime, To be determined

Start date- Starts as soon as possible

Education- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience- Will train

Responsibilities/Tasks-

Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products
Assist structural steel and plate work fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers
Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
Clean machines and immediate work areas
Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
Load and unload vehicle
Read and interpret work orders

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads
