Carpenter Full Time

Golden Temple Construction Ltd. requires Carpenters. Salary will be based on experience in the range of  $29 – $33 per hour. This is a full-time position for minimum of 40 hours per week of work. Applicant must have minimum of 1 year of experience in carpentry or have completed trade or certificate program in carpentry or related field. Candidate is expected to have basic oral English skills.

Main job duties are as following:

–         Read and interpret blueprint, drawings and sketches to determine requirements;

–         Measure, cut, assemble the material made of wood, and other material;

–         Instruct assistants and general construction helpers;

–         Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub flooring and erect walls

–         Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware

–         Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
