We are looking for an office manager who can help us to oversee and implement our office procedures, establish work priorities and office administrative operations.
Title of position: Office Manager
Location: Unit 24, 2333 18 Ave NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 8T6
Wage: $30.00 / hour
Start Date: As soon as possible
Vacancies: 1 vacancy
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay, 4% vacation pay, Dental insurance, Extended medical insurance
Main job duties include:
Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
Oversee and office procedures and routines, and establish and implement new procedures
Coordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes
We are looking for someone with the following skills:
Proficient with MS Office programs, including Excel and Word
Well organized and excellent at multi-tasking
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team player but can work independently as well
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Minimum experience: 1-2 years’ related experience
