Drywall Finishers Full Time

Drywall company with over 30 years in the industry is looking for five experienced Drywall Finishers.

Duties:

• Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive taping and plastering experience.

You will be required to train apprentices.

Requirements:

·Over three years  of  work experience in drywall

Own Tools/Equipment:
·Safety glasses/goggles, Mask, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Tools

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

·Handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, large workload, physically demanding, standing for extended periods.

Work Site Environment:

·Dusty

Work Setting:

·Residential

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Position/40 hours per week

Hours of Work:

From Monday to Friday

The shift is from 7 am to 3 pm

From CAD$ 29.84 to CAD$ 32.84
