– Job Description

The landscape supervisor is responsible for managing all field operations. Plan and direct grounds maintenance, Organize and direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, Organize and direct construction of fences, decks, and walls. Coordinate the procurement and scheduled use of resources such as labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within the budget, safety guidelines, and quality standards. Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers, Repair and maintain equipment, Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, Establish work schedules and procedures, Resolve work-related problems, Assist with landscape constructions, Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, Rake and collect refuse, Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, Lay sod or seed, Remove litter and garbage, Cut grass. Guide and mentor field teams and assist them in carrying out their duties. May serve as the primary interface between the customer and the landscaping team. – On the road job Work locations may vary.
