Cook – Grillers Steak House Full Time

Grillers Steak House in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta (4819 45 Street, Rocky Mountain House, AB, T4T 1A9) is currently looking for 1 COOK. This position is Permanent full time, 5 days per week (40 hrs per week) including days, evenings and weekends. $17 – $18 per hour. 4% vacation pay. Cost of transportation to Rocky Mountain House, Alberta for any candidates not already in the area, will be covered by the employer. Completion of high school required. Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program OR Completion of College or other program in cooking OR several years’ experience is required. Must speak English. To start October 2, 2023

Duties include:

–        Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

–        Plan menus

–        Keep kitchen and work areas clean and tidy

–        Estimate food requirements and costs

–        Inspect kitchens, maintain and manage the kitchen

–        Train staff

–        Order supplies, maintain inventory records and supplies etc.

–        Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions
