Position: Floor Covering Installer

Duration: Full Time Permanent Position

Job Location: 58 Roundstone Dr, Brampton, Ontario, L6X 0K4

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Number of openings: 2

Wage: $27.25 /hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

·        Examine, gauge, and mark the surfaces that will be covered.

·        Schedule and create floor plans.

·        Assemble and prepare hardwood floors.

·        Examine and fix any damaged floor coverings.

·        Perform testing on temperature, pH, moisture, and other factors before installing flooring.

·        Read and comprehend maps, drawings, specifications, and designs.

·        Install carpets by measuring, cutting, and doing so.

·        Prepare floors for installations.

·        Taking off any contaminated materials and floor coverings.
