 Hara Sushi Japanese Restaurant in Sooke, BC is looking for a full-time cook.

Job Position: Cook

Job Duties:

·         Handle raw cooking ingredients and make sushi

·         Train other staff to advance their cooking skills

·         Cook complete Japanese meals from restaurant menu

·         Carefully handle sharp sushi knives and use hot cooking oil

·         Ensure safe food handling procedures

Job Requirement:

·         Completion of secondary school required.

·         Min. 1-2 years of commercial cooking experience required.

Term: Full-Time (30-40 hours per week), Permanent

Wage: $ 22.00 per hour

Benefit:  4% of salary as vacation pay
