Job description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable full-time nanny for our 6-month-old infant (born Dec 2022) and 2.5 year old toddler. Ideally hours would be between 9 am to 5pm but there may be some flexibility with hours. The ideal nanny should be able to provide at home care during weekdays (Monday to Friday) for our infant and toddler, provide some help with light housekeeping and meal preparation for the children. Also, the nanny should feel comfortable spending plenty of time outside with young children in all types of weather. Experience with outdoor, Montessori or Waldorf ECE a bonus but not required. We live on a small 3 acre lots with lots of outdoor space to play. CPR certification is a must. If you’re the perfect fit for our family, we can offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 to $25.00/hr depending on experience. Main duties

·         Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

·         Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

·         Bathe, dress and feed infants and children

·         Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents

·         Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

·         Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

·         Organize, activities such as games and outings for children

·         Prepare and serve nutritious meals

·         Prepare infants and children for rest periods

·         Supervise and care for children

·         Tend to emotional well-being of children

·         Provide outdoor, wilderness and wildlife instruction

·         Escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips

Requirements

·         3 – 5 years’ experience

·         Non-smoking

·         Scent free

·         Outdoor

·         Efficient interpersonal skills

·         Excellent oral communication

·         Willing to be flexible when necessary
