Responsibilities for Restaurant Assistant Manager
Plan, organize, and direct daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless efficiency and outstanding service.
Determine the types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to guarantee a positive dining experience.
Monitor and manage cash flow, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with accuracy.
Conduct performance reviews to foster staff development and enhance overall performance.
Cost products and services to maintain competitive pricing and profitability.
Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels for smooth operations.
Regularly assess revenues and implement adjustments to procedures and prices as needed.
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Establish beneficial arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Collaborate with clients for catering or facility usage, ensuring their needs are met with satisfaction.
Develop, implement, and analyze budgets to achieve financial objectives effectively.
Actively participate in marketing plans and their successful implementation.
Set and manage staff work schedules while closely monitoring their performance.
Provide leadership and training to create a skilled and efficient team.
Specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes as required.
Qualifications
Proven 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, direct, and evaluate daily operations effectively.
In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and inventory management.
Familiarity with cost control measures, budgeting, and financial analysis to support profitability.
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to address customers’ concerns and ensure a positive dining experience.
