Title of the position: Sous-Chef – NOC 62200-2.

Number of positions available: one.

Term of employment: 35h to 40h per week – full time – permanent position.

Language: English.

Wage: C$18.00 per hour

Job Duties

–                      Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus

–                      Prepare and cook complete meals to the specifications of Lina’s Italian Piazza or special specifications of the clients.

–                      Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary

–                      Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation

–                      Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance

–                      Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately

–                      Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards

–                      Meets with customers to ensure a great meal experience

–                      Others duties as required

Requirements

·       1 to 2 years experience as Sous-Chef.

·       High School Diploma.

·       Familiar with industry best practices.

·       Basic written and verbal communication skills.

·       Organizational skills.

·       Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.

·       Ability to work as a team member.

·       Follow direction and instructions.
