Wage Rate: $20 Hourly, for 37.50 Hours per week

Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley as per company contracts

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Overtime if required

Education: No education required. High school will be an asset but not mandatory.

Experience: No work experience required. Training will be provided.

Languages: Basic Knowledge of English.

Job Duties:

·         Spread topsoil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and tress and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures.

·         Cut grass, rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees, and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.

·         Operate and maintain power mowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws and other landscape maintenance equipment.

·         Gather and remove litter.

·         Attach wires from planted tress to support stakes.

·         Install softscape and hardscape landscape including retaining walls, pavers, planting, mulching and other decorative installations

·         Install various fencing if on a fencing team such as chain link, cedar, and ornamental

·         Perform other duties as required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure; Flexibility with work schedule to meet the needs of the clients.
