Construction Helpers Full Time

Company Name: Mamba’s Walls & Ceilings Ltd. is currently hiring 2 full-time Construction Helpers to work with their growing team. The candidates must be active, independent, and eager to learn.

Permanent Position: Construction Helpers

Vacancies: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Wage Rate: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, for 37.50 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Company Location: 14366 82 AVE, SURREY BC, V3W OJ4, CANADA

Location of Work: Candidates will be required to work at various locations in Fraser Valley & Lower Mainland depending upon the Company’s contracts

Education: No education requirements

Experience: Some experience as a general construction helper is an asset

Language: Basic English

Major Work Area: Construction- Residential & Commercial

Job Duties:

·        Load, unload, and transport construction supplies to the work site.

·        Assist tradespersons at work to measure, cut, fit, and fasten drywall panels.

·        Provide tools and equipment to the installers as required and take care of equipment after work shift.

·        Cleaning and preparing surfaces for further work.

·        Mix, pour, spread, and move materials used in drywall installation process

·        Clear away debris and other unwanted material from work sites.

·        Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed and follow all safety procedures on the work site.

Additional Skills: Work at heights, handling loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, Hand eye co-ordination
