Carpenter Full Time

Millennial Homes Ltd. located at 2640 McKenzie St. Penticton, BC V2A 6H7. is looking for 1 Carpenter to work in commercial and residential projects across Penticton, BC, and the surrounding areas. Candidate should have Secondary School education and minimum of 3 years of experience in Similar field. Pay per hour will be $29-$34. This is a full-time employment with minimum 40 hours per week.

Some of the duties are as follows:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches, and perform calculations of time and material.

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

. • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.

• Knowledge of metal and wood framing.

• Work on residential and commercial projects
