Paulo and Co Hair Salon Inc is specialized in the retail of professional hair care, skin care, professional styling appliances, nail care, hair extensions and accessories. We offer a full-service beauty salon and esthetic services.

The studio is looking for an experienced Hairstylist.

Our candidate will perform the following:

· Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences

· Shampoo customers’ hair

· Shave and trim beards and mustaches

· Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages

· Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair

· Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair

· Apply hair extensions

· Clean and style wigs and hair pieces

· Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair

· Judge in competitions

· Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences

· Maintain and order supplies

Progressive experience in Brazilian Hair treatment keratin.

Hair styling techniques

· Blow drying

· Hair braiding

· Iron waving/curling

· Permanents

· Extensions

· Twisting

· Locking

· Relaxing

· Pin curls

· Roller setting

Hair colouring techniques

· Bleach

· Dyes/tints

· Frosting

· Streaking/highlights

Work Setting

Hair styling Salon

Terms of employment:

Permanent/44 hours per week

Hours of work:

From Tuesday to Saturday:

From Tuesday to Friday  from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

Saturday                            from   10:00 am  to 6:00 pm

English

Salary:

Between $ 27.00 to 29.50

Hours of work:

Tuesday  to Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Additionally, workday, shift and hours may change without notice.

· 5 years of work experience

· Hairstylist Trade Certificate
