Position Title: Construction Painter

Number of Vacancies: 01

Job Duties: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted; Repair cracks and holes; Mix paint to desired colour and texture; Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls; Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging; Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

Work indoor, outdoor, at heights.

Employment Requirements:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; Will train on the job

CPR Certificate; Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Willing to travel; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Physically demanding; Lift up to 20 lbs

Reliability; Team player

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent, 30-40 hours/week

Wage: $24.57/hour

Benefit Package: Relocation costs covered by employer; 2 weeks of paid vacation
