You will act as a full-time support to the Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations of a single restaurant ensuring delivery on guest satisfaction and desired restaurant outcomes (i.e. increased sales, profitability, and employee retention). The scope of this position is to eventually transition successful candidates into the role of a BK Restaurant Manager, which will be evaluated by periodic performance and operational need.
Salary: $40,000 anually
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time: 40 hours / week

Employment conditions: must be available to work in any shift including Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Holidays.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, MS office
Point of sale system is an asset.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight Deadlines; Attention to detail; Repetitive tasks; Occasionally lift, move, carry and stack cartons up to 50 pounds from various heights to/from shelves; Stand and walk for long periods of time (duration of shift); Occasionally climb on stools or ladders and reach for items located on shelves and occasional climbing required for roof inspection. Required frequent motions of bending, wiping, sweeping, mopping, wrapping, and squeezing.

Job requirements and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Conduct performance reviews
Cost products and services
Organize and maintain inventory
Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Develop, implement and analyze budgets
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Provide customer service
Participate in marketing plans and implementation
Provides coaching and feedback to team members, supervisors.
Leads restaurant management team in recruiting, selecting, hiring, and retaining effective team talent.
Prompt and regular attendance for assigned shifts, meetings and training.
