Shift Manager ( Food Service Supervisor), NOC 62020 Full Time

Reshmi Childs Family Restaurants Ltd. dba McDonald’s Restaurant located at 2100 Middle town Place, Sparwood, BC, V0B 2G0, is looking for 10 Full time, Permanent Shift Managers – NOC 62020 (Food Service Supervisors) for their restaurant at Sparwood location.

You will be required to work up to 40 hours a week, in a rotating shift, including weekends and Stat holidays.
Salary: $18.00/per hour.
Benefits: – Employer will pay $25 per paycheque for benefits.
Education required : Minimum Secondary High School. Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or several years of experience in food preparation or service are required.

Experience:-Previous experience an Asset.

You will be performing the following duties:

Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from dieticians, patients in hospitals or other customers.
Establish work schedules and procedures.
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets.
May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs.
