Position Title: FLOOR COVERING INSTALLER 

Number of Vacancies:  01

We are looking for 01 Floor Covering Installer (NOC TEER 73113).

Job Duties:

Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
Prepare and install hardwood floors
Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
Conduct moisture, pH, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations
Estimate costs and materials
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Prepare floors for installations
Load and carefully manage all materials
Installation specializations: tiles, wood, laminate

Education: 

●       Completion of a general high school

Work Experience:  Minimum 6 months of related work experience

Terms of Employment:  Permanent Full-time

Start date: As soon as possible

Language of work:  English – basic conversational

Wage:  $23.00/hour

Hours:  7 hours/day, 35 hours/week

Location of work:  Victoria BC. No remote work available.

Other requirements:  Must be able to work in Canada legally
