Secondary Locations: 5 1390 HILLSIDE DRIVE, KAMLOOPS BC V2E 0A6 and 3 700 TRANQUILLE ROAD, KAMLOOPS, BC, V2B 3H9

Title of the position: Barber NOC 63210-3.

Number of position available: one.

Term of employment: 40h per week – full time – permanent position.

Language: English or French.

Wage: C$20 per hour + daily tips.

Job Duties

·       Welcoming Clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles.

·       Cutting and trimming hair according to clients’ instructions.

·       Styling hair.

·       Shaving, trimming and shaping clients’ beards and mustaches.

·       Washing and conditioning clients’ hair.

·       Providing hair treatments and coloring.

·       Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitized after each use.

·       Supervising apprentices and trainees.

·       Providing face, scalp and neck massages.

·       Providing hairstyle suggestions to clients.

Requirements

·       2 years experience as Barber.

·       Sound knowledge of current hairstyles and trends.

·       Great communication skills.

·       Secondary School Required

·       Great customer service skills.
