Title of the position: Grocery Clerk  – NOC 65102

Number of positions available: one.

Term of employment: 35h to 40h per week – full time – permanent position.

Language: English.

Wage: C$17.00 per hour.

Benefits: Medical and Dental.

Relocation Costs covered by Employer.

Job Duties

·       Bags groceries and helps customers carry them to their vehicle when needed

·       Asking customers about their needs and helping them in making purchases.

·       Escorting customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve in order to assist with purchasing decisions.

·       Providing excellent customer service.

·       Ensuring the store is clean, safe, and in order.

·       Stocking and replacing products to avoid any damages.

·       Keeping shelves fully stocked with fresh products.

·       Preparing store displays and ensuring that products are accurately labeled.

·       May Order out-of-stock products.

·       Processing customer orders and payments.

·       Discarding expired items and place near expiry items on special promotions.

Requirements

·       No Experience required – on-the Job Training.

·       Some Secondary School required.

·       Familiar with industry best practices.

·       Great communication skills.

·       Great customer service skills.
