Home Support worker Full Time

Job Details
Provide care and companionship for employer’s parents-both only speak Mandarin and 14 months old child.
One female senior has difficulties in walking and physical activities due to overweight. Care needed in assisting her to walk up and down stairs and accompany her for outdoor activities.
Basic childcare is also needed to supervise and care for employer’s 14 months old daughter.
Work minimum 30 hours per week. Work hours may vary depending on the health condition of the client that may require work weekend or night shifts when the care needs arise. Work hours can be adjusted based on real time situation.
10 days paid leave after completing 1 year of employment.
 
Job Duties:
·       Provide personal care of two seniors (one with overweight problem and have difficulty walking), take them out for walks and shopping.
·       Provide the companionship
·       Prepare the nutritious meals for both seniors and 14 months old baby, and assist to feed as needed
·       Do the laundry and grocery shopping regularly
·       Taking the 14 months old baby for daily activities such as walking, indoor or outdoor ,playground and story time
·       Light housekeeping such as vacuum and mop the floor, washing dishes and making bed, cleaning toilet seats and vanities.
·       Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Min. Experience
Canadian home support and childcare experiences an asset
Mandarin ability an asset
 
Min. Education
Training and successful completion of caregiving Education program.
