About Canadian Newcomer Jobs - Connecting Talent and Employers Across Canada
Who We Are
CanadianNewcomerJobs.com is an independent, privately owned Canadian job board. Our platform connects newcomers, Canadian citizens and permanent residents with employers who are actively hiring across Canada.
We provide an online space where:
- Job seekers can search and apply for jobs directly with employers, and
- Employers, immigration consultants and immigration lawyers can advertise job opportunities to reach a wider pool of candidates.
We are not a government website, recruitment agency, immigration law firm, or Job Bank. We are a job-posting and advertising platform only.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support the successful integration of newcomers into the Canadian labour market while helping Canadian employers find motivated, qualified talent.
We aim to:
- Give newcomers, citizens and permanent residents an easy way to find real job opportunities across provinces and territories;
- Provide employers with an affordable, newcomer-friendly, Canada-wide platform to advertise their open roles;
- Promote fair, transparent and lawful hiring practices.
How Canadian Newcomer Jobs Works
For Job Seekers
- Browse jobs by province, occupation or keyword.
- Create an account, upload your resume, and apply directly to employers.
- Use our resume builder, career resources and job seeker FAQ to better understand the Canadian job market.
Our services for job seekers are information and job-search tools only. We do not:
- Guarantee that you will receive a job offer, LMIA, work permit, or permanent residence;
- Represent you in any immigration application;
- Charge job seekers a placement fee to get a job.
If anyone asks you to pay money in exchange for a job, LMIA or work permit, please treat it as suspicious and report it to us immediately.
For Employers, Immigration Consultants & Immigration Lawyers
Employers and their authorized representatives (including immigration consultants and lawyers) use our platform to:
- Create employer accounts;
- Purchase job-posting packages;
- Post advertisements for high-wage, low-wage, LMIA and non-LMIA positions;
- Receive and review applications directly from candidates.
CanadianNewcomerJobs.com does not:
- Participate in the selection of candidates;
- Negotiate wages, job offers or employment contracts;
- Act as the employer of record;
- File or manage LMIA, work permit, or immigration applications on behalf of any party.
All hiring decisions and all immigration/LMIA applications are strictly between the employer, the applicant, and their chosen representative.
Important Clarifications & Disclaimers
1. Not a Government Website
CanadianNewcomerJobs.com is not affiliated with:
- The Government of Canada;
- Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC);
- Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) / Service Canada;
- Job Bank or any provincial government job service.
Any references or links to government programs are for information only.
2. No Guarantee of Employment, LMIA, or Immigration Approval
Posting a job or applying for a job through our website does not guarantee:
- That a job seeker will be hired;
- That an LMIA application will be approved;
- That a job ad will be accepted on Job Bank or any other job board;
- That a work permit, study permit, visitor visa, permanent residence or any immigration benefit will be approved.
Decisions about LMIAs, work permits, visas and immigration applications are made solely by the relevant government authorities (such as ESDC/Service Canada and IRCC). We have no influence over those decisions.
3. LMIA & Job Bank Advertising - Employer Responsibility
CanadianNewcomerJobs.com is an advertising platform only. Employers and their representatives (including immigration consultants and lawyers) are fully responsible for ensuring that their job advertisements meet all LMIA and Job Bank requirements, including but not limited to:
- Correct wage rates and benefits;
- Proper NOC/TEER classification;
- Required advertising duration and timelines;
- Content of the advertisement and recruitment methods;
- Use of additional national-in-scope job boards as required by ESDC/Service Canada.
By using our website, employers and their representatives acknowledge and agree that:
- Publishing a job on CanadianNewcomerJobs.com does not, by itself, satisfy LMIA advertising requirements;
- We do not certify or confirm that any job posting meets ESDC/Service Canada or Job Bank standards;
- We are not liable for any LMIA refusal, Job Bank rejection, or negative immigration outcome related to any job advertisement placed on our platform.
Any questions about LMIA criteria or Job Bank policies should be directed to ESDC/Service Canada or Job Bank, or to the employer's chosen legal/immigration representative.
4. No Legal or Immigration Advice
The information on this website, including resources and blog articles, is general information only and is not legal or immigration advice.
- We do not review or advise on individual cases through this website.
- If you need legal, immigration or LMIA advice, you should consult a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer directly.
If a licensed representative happens to advertise or post jobs on our website, any professional services they provide to you are governed by your separate agreement with them, not by CanadianNewcomerJobs.com. We do not supervise, control or endorse their specific legal or immigration advice and are not responsible for their work.
5. Third-Party Content & User Responsibility
Job postings, employer profiles, and any content submitted by users are created by third parties, not by CanadianNewcomerJobs.com. While we may conduct basic checks and remove clearly inappropriate or suspicious content, we do not independently verify every posting.
- Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and truthfulness of their job ads.
- Job seekers are responsible for evaluating job offers, verifying employer identity, and making their own decisions before accepting employment.
If you encounter a suspicious posting, request for money, or potential fraud, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and, where appropriate, remove the posting.
