ATC Transport Ltd. located at 2266 Bakerview Street, Abbotsford, BC V2T 3B4 is looking for 3 Long Haul Truck Drivers.
Wages- $36.90 per hour (Overtime: 1 and half)
Vacation- 4% of gross.
No. of hours- 40 per week.
Job Description:
Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments
Perform emergency roadside repairs
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Perform preventive maintenance
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Transport and handle dangerous goods
Employment Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school.
Experience: On-the-job training is provided.
Credentials: Class 1 or A License from any province. Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Language- Basic English
