As the Controller for OCM Auto Financing Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. You will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial analysis, and reporting for our auto financing portfolio, providing strategic insights and guidance to support our business objectives. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies. The incumbent will also directly report to the CFO.
This opportunity is full-time, in-office (8:30 am – 4:30 pm) Monday through Friday. Our primary office is located in downtown Ottawa. Parking is available.

Responsibilities/ Duties
· Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
· Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
· Supervise staff
· Analyze clients' financial records
· Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
· Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
· Prepare reports and audit findings
· Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement, and estate planning
· Prepare financial statements and reports
· Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
· Arrange for the sale of financial products and investments
· Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedures
· Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
· Analyze financial documents and reports
· Examine accounting records
· Provide financial, business, and tax advice
· Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
