Job description:
· Cook menu items using restaurant recipes.
· Make sure food looks and tastes great before serving.
· Follow food safety and hygiene rules at all times.
· Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe.
· Check inventory and report when ingredients are running low.
· Help train and guide new kitchen helpers.
· Supervise kitchen helpers and make sure tasks are done properly.
Job requirement:
• Secondary high school graduation certificate.
• 1-2 years of previous cooking experience preferably in a similar setting.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment like fryers, grills, and ovens.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
• Fast and efficient work to handle busy service times.
• Ability to work well with other kitchen staff and coordinate during peak hours.
• Must have Food safe certification and food handling certification
