Job title: Construction Helpers (NOC Code 75110)
Wage: $23.00 per hour
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist carpenters and skilled tradespeople with framing and general carpentry tasks
2. Perform repetitious lifting and manual handling of materials and tools
3. Clean and organize job sites daily, including sweeping and debris removal
4. Load, unload, and move construction materials to appropriate locations
5. Receive deliveries and distribute materials and supplies to work areas
6. Help arrange tools and trade materials in preparation for each day's tasks
7. Support insulation work in attics and other building areas
8. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1. High school diploma
2. Construction experience is helpful but not required.
3. Must be able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
4. Ability to work with other tradespeople and team members.
5. Follow instructions from supervisors and tradespeople.
6. Be punctual, reliable, and efficient.
7. Valid class 5 driver license.
8. Adaptability to different construction tasks and willingness to learn new skills.
