Job title: Warehouse worker (NOC 75101)
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts and other equipment.
Pick, stage, and verify customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and products.
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock rotation, labeling, and storage.
Assist with regular inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
Keep the warehouse, yard, and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
Communicate effectively with the sales and dispatch teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with clients.
Perform material deliveries to customer job sites using company vehicles (as required).
Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or lumberyard experience is an asset.
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
Class 1 driver’s license is an asset (optional)
Strong physical condition; able to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs+) regularly.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
