Job title: Administrative Assistant (NOC 13110)
Wage: $24.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct customer and vendor phone calls professionally
- Distribute mail, manage office supplies, and coordinate service requests
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems (physical and digital)
- Prepare and distribute internal reports and documentation for supervisors
- Organize and update spreadsheets, schedules, and records
- Support interdepartmental communication between sales, construction, inventory, and leadership teams
- Provide administrative assistance to both store locations as required
- Maintain various financial and administrative tracking spreadsheets
- Support internal communications, project documentation, and filing of contracts or agreements
- Coordinate with multiple departments to streamline processes and maintain accurate recordkeeping
- Assist in special projects, staff onboarding, or administrative coverage when needed
- Provide backup support during staff absences in other administrative roles
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- Administrative or office experience required
- High school diploma (post-secondary training in administration is an asset)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong data entry, filing, and reporting skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of office equipment (printers, scanners, fax machines)
- Professional attitude with a customer service focus
