Work Site Environment
- Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses
- Handle animals and perform grooming activities
- Feed and tend animals; prepare cattle for exhibition
- Supervise milking operations
- Assist with farm safety and bio-security procedures
- Maintain financial, quality control, and production records
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Co-ordinate and supervise general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- Write daily progress reports and maintain logs
- Perform general farm duties
