Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, with morning, afternoon and some evenings as required
Work Location: This is a hybrid position. The employee will primarily report onsite at 49 High Street, Floor #3, Barrie, ON L4N 5J4.
Remote work may be permitted on certain days of the week, subject to employer approval and operational requirements, but the employee must be able to attend the physical worksite whenever required.
Wage: $38.00 per hour

Job Purpose Summary
Responsible for the business development and maintenance with the objective of maximising revenue in line with the Company’s long and short-term strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
● Introduce, develop and maintain a profitable customer portfolio by extensive use of the telephone as well as other medias.
● Gain a clear understanding of customers’ business requirements.
● Respond to and follow-up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
● Regular customer facing visits, with frequent self-sufficient travel required. Sometimes out of state.
● Procure product in accordance with customer requirements and Company guidelines.
● Prepare accurate product quotations and pricing estimates in accordance with customer requirements and company guidelines
● Liaise internally in order to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
● Liaise internally in order to resolve issues with both customers and suppliers.
● Attend and present at customer meetings.
● Identify and report market and customer trends.
● Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
● Present and promote the Company to prospective customers.
● Liaise with global business units to maximize overall Company sales opportunities.
● Ensure all sales administration is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
● Maintain and update customer database.
● Conduct and report account planning strategies when required.
● Attend industry functions when required.
● Develop technical product knowledge to explain features, benefits, and applications to clients, addressing technical inquiries as needed.
● Provide input into product or service customization where required to meet client needs.
● Prepare and deliver tailored sales proposals or presentations to illustrate benefits and solutions for customers.
● Consult with clients post-sale to provide ongoing support and ensure satisfaction.

Education:
● Completion of secondary school is required.
● A college diploma or university degree in business, sales, or marketing is an asset
Experience:
● Business development: 1-2 years required
● Client facing: 1-2 year required
Licence/Certification:
● Driving Licence (required) - Successful candidate may be required to occasionally travel in different client and site locations within Ontario
