Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time: 30 hours per Week
Employment conditions: Candidate must be flexible to work as the work demands including morning, day, Evening, Weekends, holidays as dictated by business needs.
Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Education: Completion of secondary school. Education requirement can be waived with many years of industry related experience.
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of management experience in the food service sector.
Credentials: Responsible beverage service certificate or food and beverage certificate.
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Job requirements and Responsibilities:
Primary duties of your position are overseeing external and community relations, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining customer relationships. Your Key responsibilities include training management teams, analyzing financial reports, managing customer experience, and driving initiatives to improve restaurant’s operations.
Direct efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize guest satisfaction. Ensure guests receive outstanding service; resolve complaints promptly and professionally. Lead by example in building a customer-first culture.
· Oversee the full day-to-day operation of both front-of house ad back-of-house teams, ensuring seamless service ad operational excellence.
Ensures preventive maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with company standards.
Lead health inspections and maintain all required certifications. Enforce compliance with government regulations, company’s market policy, employment laws, food safety, security policy, operations and company policies and procedures leading to all restaurant activities across shifts.
Leads restaurant management team recruiting, selecting, hiring and retaining high-performing staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations, disciplinary actions (if needed), and team motivation initiatives.
Design and deliver onboarding programs for new hires. Provide continuous training to uphold service and operational standards.
Create efficient staff schedules based on business levels, ensuring coverage while maintaining budgeted labour costs.
Work with the marketing team or ownership to develop and execute local promotions, seasonal campaigns, and community engagement strategies to grow foot traffic and brand awareness.
Manager vendor contracts and relationships to ensure timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and product quality.
Conduct regular quality checks on food, beverage, cleanliness, and service to ensure all aspects meet or exceed company standards.
Maintains inventory, manages labour and applies financial reporting analysis to enhance restaurant results.
Motivates and directs employees to exceed customer expectations with fast and friendly service in clean surroundings.
Monitor and control all financial aspects of the business including sales targets, food and beverage costs, labor costs, and monthly profit and loss reports.
Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality. Oversee weekly and monthly inventory, minimize waste, and ensure proper stock rotation.
Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Manage private events, corporate functions, and special occasions, including setup, menu planning, staffing, and guest follow-up.
Act as the company’s representative, when required.
Perform any other duties as assigned and required for business needs.
