(First - Sous Chef)
We are looking for a well experienced First - Sous Chef for Magna Golf Club located at 14780 Leslie Street Aurora, ON L4G 7C3 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service during member dining, tournaments, and events.
Prepare and oversee the preparation of high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and execution of seasonal and event-specific offerings.
Maintain hands-on involvement during peak service periods to ensure quality control and timely delivery.
Plan daily production schedules, including mise en place and staff assignments based on service requirements.
Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste, ensuring efficient use of ingredients and proper stock management.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
Coordinate kitchen operations during high-volume service and events to maintain quality and efficiency. Prerequisites:
Education: Bachelor’s in Hotel Management or equivalent.
Experience: 5+ years or more in the food industry equivalent experience.
Hourly Wage: $36 to $38 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
