Responsibilities
o Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting Labourer
o Direct agricultural of Cranberries crops and related activities
o Provide agricultural crop services such as irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
o Consider water saturation, sprinkler system, frost control for crop
o Oversee the activities of clearing the fields including collect brush and debris from fields
o Develop specific plans to prioritize
o Direct farm grooming activities
o Manage growing shoots into optimal size for max fruit
o Mixing fertilizer and implement soil fertility programs
o Level earth to fine grade specifications
o Oversee the process of hoeing and sanding, weeding crops
o Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
o Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety procedures
o Ensure farm procedures are followed
o Maintain quality control and production records
o Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
o Maintain work records and logs
o Hire and train staff
o Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
