Duties:
Perform computerized wheel alignments on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and commercial vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
Inspect suspension, steering, and chassis components to identify wear, damage, or misalignment issues
Diagnose vehicle handling problems such as pulling, uneven tire wear, or steering vibration
Adjust camber, caster, and toe angles using alignment equipment and hand tools
Test drive vehicles before and after alignment to ensure proper handling and customer satisfaction
Recommend necessary repairs or parts replacement related to suspension or steering systems
Install and adjust related components such as tie rods, control arms, ball joints, and bushings when required
Maintain accurate service records and alignment reports
Operate hoists, alignment racks, and diagnostic equipment safely
Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Communicate clearly with service advisors, supervisors, and customers regarding vehicle conditions and repairs
