Tasks:
Establish methods to meet work schedules
l Requisition food and kitchen supplies
l Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
l Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
l Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
l Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
l Prepare budget and cost estimates
l Address customers' complaints or concerns
l Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
l Prepare and submit reports
l Supervise and check assembly of trays
l Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
l Establish work schedules
In the absence of staff or during rush hours, you may be required to perform some or
all the duties performed by staff supervised by you,
l Greet customers
l Take food orders
l Handling money
l Working with cash registers
l Working in the storefront
l Cleaning various restaurant and kitchen areas
Supervision: 5-10 people
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation, Public transportation is available
