Job Duties and Responsibilities (NOC 72411 :
· Estimating repair costs based on damage examination reports
· Inspecting repaired vehicles
· Planning repair work to be performed
· Demonstrating professionalism in customer service
· Test driving vehicles to ensure proper handling
· Cleaning and maintaining the workspace
· Filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces to be repaired
· Masking and taping auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
· Repairing dents, buckles, and defects using appropriate tools
· Removing damaged fenders, panels, and grills and replacing or welding new parts
· Applying primers and repainting surfaces.
· Repairing or replacing interior components
