Laundry Supervisor
We are looking for “Laundry Supervisor” for The Quality Inn & Suites Prescott located at 135 Prescott Centre Dr, Prescott, ON K0E 1T0, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of laundry attendants engaged in cleaning and processing hotel linens, towels, and uniforms.
Develop and implement daily and weekly laundry production schedules to support housekeeping operations and ensure timely room turnover.
Assign work duties and monitor staff performance across all stages of the laundry process, including sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution.
Inspect finished laundry items to ensure compliance with hotel quality standards, hygiene protocols, and presentation requirements.
Oversee the operation of commercial laundry equipment, including industrial washers, dryers, and pressing machines; coordinate routine maintenance and arrange repairs as required.
Train staff on standard operating procedures, proper handling of linens, safe operation of equipment, and compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of linens, uniforms, detergents, and laundry supplies; prepare requisitions and maintain stock control systems.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure efficient collection, processing, and distribution of laundry items.
Maintain operational records, including production logs, inventory usage, and staff attendance, and report to management as required.
Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards, including the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
Language: English.
Hourly Rate: $22 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
