I. Culinary Production and Specialized Food Preparation
Comprehensive Meal Preparation: Responsible for the preparation and execution of full-course meals and complex individual dishes, ensuring adherence to established recipes and quality standards.
Allergy and Dietary Management: Systematically prepare specialized dishes for clients with documented food allergies or intolerances, maintaining strict cross-contamination protocols and ingredient verification.
Service Efficiency: Manage the portioning and packaging of food products for inventory control and provide direct service to clients at buffet stations or counters as required by service flow.
II. Kitchen Operations and Resource Management
Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring all culinary activities align with health, safety, and productivity targets.
Inventory and Record Maintenance: Maintain meticulous records of all food stock, kitchen supplies, and equipment. This includes monitoring usage rates and coordinating necessary procurement to prevent service interruptions.
Resource Optimization: Oversee the preparation and finishing of secondary food items to ensure a balanced workflow and minimal waste during peak service hours.
III. Planning and Event Coordination
Menu Development: Actively participate in the planning of menus, providing technical expertise on food requirements and the practical realization of diverse culinary offerings.
Logistical Estimation: Conduct formal estimations of food and supply requirements based on projected volume to ensure cost-effective operations.
Special Event Coordination: Serve as a primary coordinator for high-volume special events, managing the logistical transition from menu planning to final execution.
